Our landscaping services in Dubai cover garden design, soil preparation, planting, irrigation, turf and hard landscaping for villas, townhouses and commercial frontages. We plan each garden around sun, shade and water, because those three decide what survives here.
Many new villas hand over with a bare sand plot. Older gardens often have tired lawns, roots lifting paving and irrigation that waters the path more than the plants. We can start from nothing or rework what you have.
Landscaping usually sits next to other outdoor work. If you want shade, we can plan a pergola into the layout. If you have a pool, we keep thirsty or messy plants away from the water and the filter.

We handle all 11 jobs listed below, and confirm the exact scope with you before work starts.
Patchy grass in July and August usually means the wrong grass type, poor soil or irrigation that cannot keep up.
Sprinklers running at midday or leaking drip lines waste a lot of water. DEWA bills often show it first.
Trees planted too close to paths, walls or the pool can crack hardscape and damage pipes.
Bare soil and no windbreak let sand drift onto terraces and into sliding door tracks.
Without shade and seating, most Dubai gardens stay empty from May to October.
It runs in 5 steps: Site visit, design and plant list, groundwork, planting and finishing, handover and care plan. Each step is confirmed with you before the next one starts, so there are no surprises on price or timing.
We look at sun direction, shade, soil, drainage, existing services and how you want to use the space.
You get a layout and a plant list chosen for heat, salt and water use, with options for different budgets.
We clear the area, improve the soil, lay irrigation lines and set out paths and beds.
Plants, turf, gravel and lighting go in, and we set irrigation timers for the season.
We show you how the system works and what to adjust as the weather changes. Ongoing maintenance visits are available.
There is no fixed price list: every job is quoted after we understand it. These 6 factors move the number up or down.

Balcony and terrace gardens need lightweight pots, saucers that do not drip onto neighbours and plants that cope with wind at height. This is most of our landscaping work. Shopfronts, office entrances and courtyards need low-maintenance planting that looks tidy all year.
Dubai soil is mostly sand with little organic matter. It drains fast and holds few nutrients, and in some areas it is salty. Most planting beds need improved soil before anything goes in. Plants that cope well include bougainvillea, frangipani, desert rose, date palms and native trees such as ghaf. Seashore paspalum is a common choice where a real lawn is wanted, because it tolerates heat and some salinity.
Timing matters. The best planting window is from late autumn to early spring. Plants put in during summer face extreme heat before their roots are established, and many fail. Irrigation should run early morning or late evening, and timers need adjusting between seasons. Drip lines lose less water to evaporation than spray heads in this climate.
Dust and sandstorms coat leaves, clog drippers and bury gravel. A good layout uses hedges or screens on the windward side. Communities managed by master developers often have rules on front gardens, hedge heights, trees near boundaries and visible structures, so we check those before planning.
Balcony and terrace gardens need lightweight pots, saucers that do not drip onto neighbours and plants that cope with wind at height. Large ground-floor or podium gardens may need building management approval for anything fixed.
This is most of our landscaping work. We plan front gardens to fit community rules and back gardens around privacy, shade, play space and the pool if you have one.
Shopfronts, office entrances and courtyards need low-maintenance planting that looks tidy all year. We favour hardy plants, drip irrigation and durable paving that copes with foot traffic.

A grouped guide to heat- and drought-tolerant plants for Dubai gardens and balconies, with a quick-reference table and tips on soil, watering and shade.

A side-by-side look at artificial and real grass in Dubai, covering heat, water, upkeep, pets, children, shade and community rules.

How to set up and maintain drip irrigation in a Dubai villa garden, from zones and timers to filters, clogged emitters and seasonal changes.
Each has trade-offs. Artificial turf saves water and stays green, but it gets very hot in direct summer sun and needs rinsing to clear dust. Real grass stays cooler underfoot but needs daily irrigation and regular care. Many families use turf in shaded play areas and real grass or planting elsewhere. Our guide to artificial turf versus real grass in Dubai compares them in detail. We help you decide based on sun and use.
Late autumn through to early spring is ideal. Temperatures are lower, so new plants can root before the heat arrives. You can still landscape in summer, but expect more losses and plan for extra watering and shade cloth for young plants.
Planting inside your plot usually does not need a permit, but many communities have guidelines for front gardens, boundary hedges and large trees. Structures, fixed lighting on boundary walls or changes to the plot frontage may need a no-objection certificate from the master developer. We check the rules for your community before work starts.
Switch spray heads to drip where you can, water early morning, group plants by water need and mulch beds to slow evaporation. Replace a large lawn with native or drought-tolerant planting and gravel. Fixing leaking irrigation joints also helps, and our plumbing team can check the supply side if bills stay high.
Avoid trees with aggressive roots or heavy leaf and flower drop next to the water, as they clog filters and can crack pool shells. Palms are a common choice because their roots are less invasive. Keep larger trees further back. Our swimming pool team can advise on keeping debris out of the system.
