Our swimming pool maintenance in Dubai covers regular cleaning, water testing and balancing, filter and pump care, and repairs to tiles, lights and equipment. We look after private villa pools, penthouse plunge pools and small commercial pools.
Pool water changes fast in this climate. A pool that is clear on Monday can turn green by Thursday in August if the chlorine level slips. Regular visits catch that before it happens, and they keep the equipment from working harder than it needs to.
We also fix the problems around the pool. Popped tiles, loose coping, leaking pipework and failing pool lining all come back to the same thing: water going where it should not. Our waterproofing team can reline a pool shell when patch repairs are no longer enough.

We handle all 12 jobs listed below, and confirm the exact scope with you before work starts.
This usually means low sanitiser, poor filtration or unbalanced pH. It can turn quickly in summer.
Calcium build-up from hard water and fast evaporation shows as a crust on tiles and fittings.
Some loss to evaporation is normal, but a steady drop beyond that may point to a leak.
A blocked filter, worn bearings or air in the system can make the pump strain or fail.
Tiles that lift or crack let water behind them and can cut feet.
This is often a sign of unbalanced water rather than too much chlorine.
It runs in 5 steps: First inspection, reset the water, agree a visit plan, regular visits, repairs as needed. Each step is confirmed with you before the next one starts, so there are no surprises on price or timing.
We check water quality, equipment, pipework, tiles and the plant room, and note anything that needs repair.
If needed, we shock treat, clean the filter and rebalance the pool so it starts from a clean baseline.
We suggest a visit frequency based on season, pool size, tree cover and how often it is used.
Each visit includes cleaning, testing, dosing and a quick equipment check. We tell you about anything unusual.
Bigger jobs such as tile work, pump replacement or leak repair are quoted separately before we start.
There is no fixed price list: every job is quoted after we understand it. These 6 factors move the number up or down.

Shared tower pools are run by building management. Most of our pool work is in villa gardens. Small hotels, gyms and residential compounds have heavier use and stricter hygiene expectations.
In summer, outdoor pool water can get warm enough to feel like a bath. Warm water and strong sun burn off chlorine quickly and help algae grow. Stabiliser helps protect chlorine from UV, but it builds up over time, so levels must be tested. Many villa owners add a pool chiller to keep summer swimming comfortable. Our guide to pool care in a Dubai summer sets out a week-by-week routine.
Dust and sandstorms are the other big load. A single storm can dump enough fine sand to cloud the water and clog the filter. After a storm, the filter usually needs backwashing or cleaning and the floor needs vacuuming. Leaves and flowers from nearby trees add to it, which is why pool layout and landscaping should be planned together.
High evaporation means frequent top-ups, and that concentrates minerals already in the water. Over time this causes scale on tiles, fittings and salt chlorinator cells. Coastal villas on the Palm and in Jumeirah also face salt air, which corrodes metal ladders, handrails and plant room fittings faster than inland.
Shared tower pools are run by building management. We look after private pools and plunge pools on penthouse terraces, where access, weight limits and drainage to the building system need care.
Most of our pool work is in villa gardens. We service the pool and plant room, and advise on chillers, covers and planting to cut cleaning time.
Small hotels, gyms and residential compounds have heavier use and stricter hygiene expectations. We agree a visit schedule and records to suit the operator.

A simple daily, weekly and four-week routine to keep a private pool clear and safe through Dubai's summer heat, dust and evaporation.

How salt and chlorine pools really differ in Dubai's heat, from water feel and upkeep to scale, corrosion and converting an existing pool.

How to tell a pool leak from normal evaporation in Dubai, using the bucket test, a simple water-level log and a check of the usual leak points.

Why dust and sand turn a pool green so quickly, and a step-by-step plan to bring the water back, with chemical safety and prevention tips.
Most villa pools need at least weekly visits for much of the year, and more often in peak summer or after dust storms. In cooler months, some owners reduce visits if the pool is covered or rarely used. We suggest a schedule after seeing the pool, its equipment and how much debris it collects.
High water temperatures and strong sun burn off chlorine fast and help algae grow. If sanitiser drops even briefly, algae can take hold within days. A dirty filter or poor circulation makes it worse. Regular testing, correct stabiliser levels and enough pump run time usually solve it.
A salt system produces chlorine from dissolved salt, so it gives steadier levels and softer-feeling water. It still needs pH control and regular cell cleaning, especially with hard water. Manual chlorine has lower upfront cost. Both work well when they are maintained properly. Our comparison of salt water and chlorine pools covers this in more detail.
A simple bucket test helps. Place a bucket of pool water on a step, mark both water levels and compare after a day. If the pool drops much more than the bucket, you likely have a leak. Our guide to pool leaks versus evaporation explains the test step by step. We then check pipework, fittings, lights and the shell to find it.
Not often. Draining is needed when dissolved minerals build up too high or for major tile or lining repairs. In Dubai's heat, an empty pool should not sit for long, because the shell and tiles can be stressed by sun exposure. We plan draining and refilling in one short window.
