Mek-Madin Fitout provides glass & aluminium solutions across Dubai for apartments, villas, townhouses, offices and shops. Typical work includes frameless and framed shower enclosures; aluminium sliding and folding doors; and aluminium windows and fly screens. Call or WhatsApp +971 52 884 8916, Saturday to Thursday from 8am to 2am. Every job is quoted before work starts.
Our glass and aluminium works in Dubai cover made-to-measure shower enclosures, sliding and folding doors, windows, office glass partitions, shopfronts, balustrades and mirrors. We also repair what you already have, including rollers, seals, handles and locks.
Much of our work is fixing doors and windows that have become hard to use. Sliding doors that grind on sandy tracks. Windows that whistle in a shamal. Shower doors that drip onto the bathroom floor. Most of these are fixed with new rollers, gaskets or adjustment, not full replacement.
For new work, we measure on site, fabricate to size and install. Glass and aluminium often pair with other trades, such as glass screens on a pergola or new shower screens during a bathroom renovation.

We handle all 11 jobs listed below, and confirm the exact scope with you before work starts.
Worn rollers and sand in the track make doors stiff and wear the frame faster.
Hardened or shrunk rubber seals let in fine dust, hot air and traffic noise.
Blocked drainage holes in the bottom track push water inwards instead of out.
Failed silicone, worn seals or loose hinges let water escape onto the floor.
Mist inside the unit means the seal has failed, and the insulation value is lost.
It runs in 5 steps: Site visit and measure, choose glass and finish, approvals if needed, fabricate, install and test. Each step is confirmed with you before the next one starts, so there are no surprises on price or timing.
We check the opening, the existing frame and what is causing any fault. New work is measured accurately on site.
We explain glass types, such as tempered or laminated safety glass, plus frame colours and hardware.
Changes visible from outside usually need building or community approval. We tell you when that applies.
Frames are cut and assembled and glass is ordered to size. Repairs often need only parts.
We fit, level and seal everything, test locks and sliding action, and clean up before handover.
There is no fixed price list: every job is quoted after we understand it. These 6 factors move the number up or down.

We have worked in Dubai's towers, villas and older blocks since 2021.
You approve the quote first. If the scope changes, we stop and agree it with you.

Apartment work is mostly shower screens, mirrors, internal glass doors and repairs to balcony sliders. Villas have large sliding doors to gardens, many windows and often glass balustrades. Offices use glass partitions to divide space while keeping light.
Sun and heat put steady stress on frames and seals. Aluminium expands and contracts each day, and rubber gaskets and silicone harden under UV. Once a seal shrinks, dust, hot air and noise get in, and the AC works harder. Thermally broken frames and double glazing reduce heat gain, especially on west-facing glass.
Sand is the main cause of sliding door problems here. Fine sand settles in tracks and grinds the rollers and the frame. After a sandstorm, tracks should be vacuumed and drainage holes cleared. When heavy rain arrived in April 2024, many homes found that blocked tracks let water flow inside instead of draining out.
Humidity and sea air add more. Bathrooms stay damp, so shower hardware should be stainless or properly coated. Near the coast, poorly finished aluminium and cheap fixings corrode. In towers, building management controls the facade, so replacing external windows or adding balcony glazing usually needs approval and may not be allowed at all.
Apartment work is mostly shower screens, mirrors, internal glass doors and repairs to balcony sliders. External glazing belongs to the facade, so we work with building management on anything that changes it.
Villas have large sliding doors to gardens, many windows and often glass balustrades. We repair and upgrade these and can add glass to pergolas or enclosed terraces where community rules allow.
Offices use glass partitions to divide space while keeping light. Shops need secure, clean shopfronts. We work to the landlord's fit-out rules and plan installation around business hours.
Our crews cover every Dubai community. These district pages explain local building rules and access.

When double glazing is worth it in a Dubai home, how glass and frame choices affect heat, noise and dust, and when cheaper fixes do the job.

Why balcony and patio sliding doors stick or will not close in Dubai, what you can safely clean yourself and when rollers or tracks need replacing.
In most cases, yes. Stiff or noisy sliding doors usually need new rollers, a cleaned track and adjustment. Leaks often come from blocked drainage holes or worn seals. We only suggest replacement if the frame is bent or corroded, or if you want better thermal performance. Our guide to a sliding door that will not close covers the common causes.
Shower screens should use tempered safety glass, which breaks into small blunt pieces instead of sharp shards. A thicker panel feels more solid for frameless designs. An easy-clean coating helps against limescale from Dubai's hard water. We advise on thickness based on the size and fixing method. Our comparison of frameless and framed shower screens covers this in more detail.
In most towers, balcony enclosures change the building facade and are not allowed without building management approval. Many buildings do not permit them at all. In villas, glass enclosures for terraces may need a community NOC. Check the rules before you plan, and we will build within what is approved. Our guide on enclosing a balcony in Dubai covers this in more detail.
Fog between the panes means the sealed unit has failed and moist air has got in. It cannot be cleaned from outside. The usual fix is replacing the glass unit while keeping the existing frame, if the frame is in good condition.
Vacuum the track regularly, especially after dust storms. Wipe it with a damp cloth and avoid oily lubricants, which trap sand. Check the drainage holes in the bottom track are clear. Our handyman team can also adjust doors and replace handles during a general maintenance visit.
