Our solar water heater installation service in Dubai covers sizing, supply, roof mounting, plumbing connections and commissioning. We also repair and service existing systems, including collectors, tanks, valves, pumps and backup heaters.
Dubai gets strong sun on almost every day of the year, which makes solar hot water a practical choice. A well-sized system can cover most of a household's hot water needs, with an electric backup element for the rare cloudy spell or heavy use.
A solar heater touches both the roof and the plumbing. We seal every roof fixing so the waterproofing stays intact, and connect to your hot water lines with the right valves. Our plumbing team can upgrade pipework at the same time if needed.

We have worked in Dubai's towers, villas and older blocks since 2021.
You approve the quote first. If the scope changes, we stop and agree it with you.

The most common signs: high electricity bills from water heaters; solar system no longer gets hot; water too hot at the tap; leaks or stains under the roof tank; backup heater runs all the time.
Several electric heaters running in a large villa add up on your DEWA bill, especially in cooler months.
Dust on the collectors, scale in the pipes or a failed pump can cut output badly.
Scalding water in summer means the mixing valve is missing, faulty or set wrong.
Leaking fittings or a corroded tank can damage the roof and the ceiling below.
If the electric element does most of the work, the solar side is not doing its job.
We handle all 12 jobs listed here. Tell us what you need and we confirm the exact scope before work starts.
It runs in 5 steps: Assess demand and roof, recommend a system, approvals, install, commission and hand over.
We count bathrooms, kitchens and occupants, and check roof space, orientation, shading and structure.
You get a suggested collector type, tank size and layout, and a clear view of what the backup heater will do.
Rooftop equipment visible from the street may need a community NOC. We help you prepare the details.
We fix frames to the roof, seal every penetration, mount collectors and tank, and connect pipework and electrics.
We fill and test the system, set the mixing valve to a safe temperature and show you how to check it.
There is no fixed price list: every job is quoted after we understand it. These 6 factors move the number up or down.

Individual apartment units rarely have the roof access for their own system. Villas are the best fit for solar hot water. Businesses with high hot water use, such as gyms, salons, cafes and staff accommodation, can benefit most.
Dubai's sunshine is the main reason solar water heating works so well here. It also creates the main risk. In summer, solar collectors can push stored water to very high temperatures, and even roof-mounted cold water tanks run warm. A thermostatic mixing valve is essential to stop scalding at the tap. The system also needs proper relief valves to handle overheating safely.
Dust settles on collectors and cuts how much heat they absorb. After sandstorms, a rinse makes a clear difference. Dubai's water is fairly hard, so scale builds up in collectors, tanks and pipes over the years. Regular flushing keeps flow and output up. Roof fixings must hold against shamal winds, and every bolt through the roof must be sealed so the membrane is not compromised.
Dubai's green building regulations have for some years required solar water heating in many types of new building, and many villas now come with a system already fitted. Requirements depend on the building type and when it was approved, so check with your developer or Dubai Municipality for specifics. Solar water heating is also separate from DEWA's Shams Dubai scheme, which covers solar panels that generate electricity.
Individual apartment units rarely have the roof access for their own system. Where a tower has central solar hot water, building management maintains it. We can help penthouse owners with private roof access, subject to building approval.
Villas are the best fit for solar hot water. Many newer villas already have a system, and we service and repair those. Older villas with several electric heaters are good candidates for a new install.
Businesses with high hot water use, such as gyms, salons, cafes and staff accommodation, can benefit most. We size systems for daily demand and plan installation around opening hours and landlord approval.

When a solar water heater makes sense for a Dubai home, how it compares with electric heaters, and what to check before you buy.

A plain guide to how Dubai's green building rules affect solar water heating when you build or extend a villa, and what to check with your consultant.
Yes, for most villas and many businesses. Dubai has strong sunshine almost all year, so a well-sized system can cover most hot water needs with little help from the backup heater. Whether it pays back for you depends on your current usage and setup. Our guide on whether a solar water heater is worth it in Dubai covers the details.
Both work well here. Flat plate collectors are robust and easy to clean, which suits dusty conditions. Evacuated tubes perform well in cooler months but can overheat more in summer if the system is not designed for it. We recommend based on your demand, roof space and how the system will be maintained.
Most solar systems include an electric backup element in the tank. It switches on only when solar heat is not enough, such as during heavy use or rare cloudy days. A timer or thermostat setting keeps it from running when it is not needed.
An inspection once or twice a year suits most homes. That covers cleaning the collectors, checking valves and fittings, testing the mixing valve and checking for scale. Collectors may need extra rinsing after sandstorms. Hard water areas may need flushing more often.
It is safe when the system has a working thermostatic mixing valve and relief valves. Without a mixing valve, water at the tap can be hot enough to scald, which is a real risk for children and older people. We fit and set these on every installation and check them during servicing.
