Our pergola design and installation service in Dubai covers measuring, design, approvals support, fabrication and fitting. We build freestanding and wall-mounted pergolas in aluminium, timber and steel, with fixed slats, adjustable louvres or fabric covers.
A pergola should make a garden or roof terrace usable for more of the year. That means placing it where the sun actually hits in the afternoon, not just where it looks good on a plan. We start with sun direction, wind and how you will use the space.
Pergolas often come as part of a wider outdoor project. We can work alongside your landscaping and add glass screens or sliding panels through our glass and aluminium team.

We handle all 11 jobs listed below, and confirm the exact scope with you before work starts.
If the garden or roof terrace is empty from late morning, a shaded structure can bring it back into use.
A pergola outside south or west-facing windows cuts glare and heat before it reaches the glass.
Timber that has split, warped or lost its finish may not be safe in strong wind.
Rust streaks on a steel pergola, especially near the coast, mean the coating has failed and the frame is weakening.
Sails and canopies wear fast under UV. A rigid roof may suit you better.
It runs in 5 steps: Survey, design and options, approvals, fabrication, installation. Each step is confirmed with you before the next one starts, so there are no surprises on price or timing.
We measure the area, check the sun path, wind exposure, drainage and what the pergola will be fixed to.
You get a design with material choices, roof type and colour. We share drawings you can submit to your community.
Most villa communities need a no-objection certificate for outdoor structures. We help you prepare what the master developer asks for.
Frames are made off site to your measurements, which keeps time in your garden short and tidy.
We set footings, fix and level the frame, fit the roof and any electrics, then clean up and walk you through care.
There is no fixed price list: every job is quoted after we understand it. These 6 factors move the number up or down.

Penthouse and large terrace pergolas are possible, but tower management usually controls anything fixed outside. Most of our pergolas go into villa gardens, roof terraces and parking areas. Cafes, restaurants and office courtyards use pergolas for outdoor seating.
Sun and heat are the main loads on a Dubai pergola. Strong UV fades colours and breaks down timber finishes and fabric. Dark surfaces get very hot to the touch. Powder-coated aluminium in lighter colours holds up well and needs little upkeep. Timber looks warm but needs regular oiling or sealing to stop cracking. Our guide on the best pergola materials for Dubai compares them in detail.
Wind is the load people forget. Shamal winds and sudden storms put real force on a pergola roof, especially a solid or louvred one. Footings and wall fixings must be sized for it. Sand blows into louvre channels and gutters, so they need occasional cleaning. When heavy rain comes, as it did in April 2024, louvred roofs must drain away from doors and walls, not onto them.
Near the sea, in places like Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah and the Marina, salt air attacks steel and cheap fixings. We use suitable coatings and stainless fixings there. Community rules matter too. Many master developers set limits on height, colour, position and how close a structure sits to the boundary, so we design within those from the start.
Penthouse and large terrace pergolas are possible, but tower management usually controls anything fixed outside. Most buildings need approval, and some do not allow fixed structures at all. We check before designing and may suggest freestanding or weighted options.
Most of our pergolas go into villa gardens, roof terraces and parking areas. Townhouses often have small gardens, so we keep posts slim and placed to leave room to move.
Cafes, restaurants and office courtyards use pergolas for outdoor seating. These usually need landlord and authority approval, and we plan around opening hours during installation.

In most Dubai communities, yes. Master developers usually require a no-objection certificate for outdoor structures and may set rules on height, colour and distance from boundaries. Requirements differ between communities, so check with your community management first. Our pergola approval guide for Dubai communities explains what they usually look at. We provide the drawings and details they normally ask for.
Powder-coated aluminium is usually the lowest maintenance choice. It does not rot or rust and keeps its finish well. Timber can last if it is oiled or sealed regularly. Steel is strong but needs a good coating, especially near the sea. We explain the trade-offs for your site.
Adjustable louvres let you open the roof for winter sun and close it for summer shade or rain. They suit people who use the space all year. They cost more than fixed slats and need occasional cleaning of sand from the channels. If you only want summer shade, fixed slats may be enough.
Often, yes, but it depends on the wall and the community rules. We check the wall build-up and avoid drilling through waterproofing or into hidden services. A freestanding design is used where wall fixing is not suitable or not permitted.
Rinse it down every few weeks to remove dust, more often after a sandstorm. Clear louvre channels and gutters before any expected rain. Check fixings once or twice a year. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners that can damage the powder coat, and touch up any chips early so corrosion does not spread.
